For our family and friends from out of town, we want you to enjoy the city, and Scotland, as locals. With the help of our wedding crew, we’ve put together a few of our favourite spots to explore while you’re in our neck of the woods.

Recommends
St Andrews
If you’re craving a beach walk, Finlay recommends West Sands beach, or a bit further out Tensmuir - both great for dog spotting and close enough for a day trip to explore St Andrews.
Dunkeld
About an hour north of the city, Dunkeld is a great little town, surrounded by walking trails, and a few fun lunch spots in town that Finlay would recommend. (woof!)

On the Train: Glasgow or St Andrews. - the train makes is super easy to explore and there are many day- trips close by.
Further Afield: Scotland has so many day tours that can be booked through Viator, which will pick you up and drop you back in the city. A few recommendations so far are the West Highlands Lochs, Mountains & Castles from Edinburgh, and the Stonehenge & Bath Tour from London, if you’re planning a stop over.
