The Plan

  • Dress Code: Cocktail/Highland

  • The ceremony will take place in the Free Company courtyard, weather permitting. However, should true Scottish weather shows its colours, the ceremony will be moved indoors.

  • The Bar & Courtyard

  • The Free Company is a farm to table venue, with all menu option grown seasonally on the farm. Please note any dietary requirements at the time of your rsvp, and we’ll share our menu with you a little bit closer to the day.

  • Post-dinner drinks in the bar, before the dance floor opens and the party begins.

  • Ladies, pack your dancing shoes or a spare set of flats!

  • Wood fire pizzas and cake.

to Stay

The Free Company is located 30 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh. We’ve put together a few suggestions on places to stay, both in the city centre and closer to The Free Company. If you’re planning an extended holiday in Scotland, we’d recommend staying where you plan to spend the majority of your time.
